Paul possesses independent thinking and free will and knows he must fight against the norm to save his family and the Utopian race from total extinction. Paul Benedict is a different sort of Utopian. This becomes a problem when the Kazats of Crimson, who believe Utopians are pure evil, vow to completely annihilate the race. When confronted with danger, they simply smile and turn the other way. Scientifically blessed with Cellular Infinity, Utopians of Azure enjoy immortality, living in total peace and love. Both take place in the future after some kind of cataclysmic, world-shattering event and seem to fit together somehow, though exactly how is not clear. ![]() Read second, Kira's story adds another dimension to Jonah's dystopian experience and promises more development and adventure. While this book could stand alone, as can the others, it makes more sense and is more powerful when read with the other three, in order.
